Bangalore is 1,700 km from Agra. But IndiGo and Air India fly Delhi–Bangalore in under 3 hours, which means a Friday night flight from Kempegowda gets you to Agra by Saturday morning. You stand in front of the Taj Mahal at sunrise. You explore Agra Fort at your own pace. And you're back in Bangalore by Sunday night — or you add Delhi on Sunday and fly home Monday.
We handle everything on the ground from the moment your flight lands at Delhi. A private car and local guide meet you at the airport, drive you to Agra (about 3.5 hours via Yamuna Expressway), take you through the full day, and return you to Delhi for your flight home. All you book is the flight.
You arrive at the East Gate before 6am, when the monument opens. The Taj in the first hour of daylight, with mist on the Yamuna and almost nobody else around, is as close to magical as a building gets. This is what the postcards try and fail to capture.
Your driver is at arrivals when you land. The same guide stays with you through Agra. No auto-rickshaw negotiations, no shared taxis, no figuring out the meter. The entire ground journey is handled.
Take an extra day to see Delhi's Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb, and Chandni Chowk. Or push to Jaipur for a full 4-day Golden Triangle. The weekend version is the minimum — we can build as much around it as you want.

This is the most popular version — fly Friday, Taj Saturday, Delhi Sunday, home by Monday. We can adjust any part of this to fit your dates and flights.
Bangalore to Delhi takes 2h 40min. A late evening flight (8–11pm) arrives before midnight. You check into your Delhi hotel, sleep, and wake up ready for the drive to Agra — which leaves before 5am to make sunrise at the Taj. Recommended airlines: IndiGo, Air India, Vistara. We'll advise on the best flight times for your dates.
Your driver and guide collect you from the Delhi hotel at 4:30am. You arrive at the Taj Mahal East Gate by opening time. The next two hours inside the Taj complex are the heart of the entire trip — your guide knows where to stand for every photograph, the inscriptions on the gateway in Persian, and why the minarets lean slightly outward. After the Taj, a proper Mughlai breakfast near the monument. Then Agra Fort, the vast red sandstone fortress that housed the Mughal emperors for three generations. By afternoon you're back in your car, and by evening you're in Delhi. Alternatively, stay overnight in Agra and see Mehtab Bagh at sunset before heading back.
If you add a Delhi day: your guide takes you through Old Delhi in the morning — Chandni Chowk's famous food lanes, the Red Fort's exterior, and Jama Masjid. In the afternoon, New Delhi: Humayun's Tomb (the Mughal building that inspired the Taj Mahal's design), India Gate, and Qutub Minar. Then your driver takes you to the airport for the evening flight back to Bangalore. If you prefer to fly home on Saturday: your driver can have you at IGI Terminal in time for a late afternoon or evening departure.

Plan My Weekend Trip"We flew from Bangalore on Friday night and were at the Taj Mahal before 7am Saturday. I've wanted to see it since I was a child. The sunrise, the mist, the near-silence — nothing prepares you for how beautiful it actually is. Samarth made the whole trip seamless. Back in Bangalore by Sunday night. Absolutely worth every minute of sleep lost."
"It's always nerve wracking booking a tour company on the other side of the world, but oh my gosh was I amazed by the coordination, care, and dedication from Taj Travel Services. Samarth made my itinerary based on exactly what I told him I wanted to see. Overall 10/10 experience."
"Naveen & Sam are truly the best — knowledgeable, patient, and adapt to the needs of a large group without hesitation. Having planned travel for C-Suite executives from Fortune 500 companies, I would confidently send any of them to India knowing they'd be well taken care of."
